I learn best in a classroom environment, but all of the local web design and graphics design classes are more like one day seminars. I don’t find that useful at all.
I want real, practical, useful lessons in creating websites with current, widely used languages and software. I want to learn Quark and Photoshop to be more marketable as a job candidate.
Does anyone have suggestions for how I can learn this things? I’ve tried self teaching, but I find it difficult to fully understand this stuff without having an expert to ask directly or without direct feedback.
Any suggestions at all would help. Thanks!
As I mentioned, all of the local classes are one day seminars. I WORK at the local community college, and I track this all the time.

Take a class at a community college. Photoshop can be a little challenging to learn but to build a website, you will definetly need a class for that.
